Perez piece on Lindsay Lohan is totally Coco Loco

“Lindsay Lohan is looking to wreak havoc at another fashion label!” exclaims Perez Hilton on his second site CocoPerez, which affords him twice the chance to get things wrong.

Seizing the opportunity, Perez picked up on an erroneous EOnline report, and claimed “sources” say Lohan “is designing line of handbags for Ed Hardy.”

Perez even quotes a so-called “source” saying, “Lindsay and the design team at Ed Hardy have mutual friends, and they knew she was interested in looking for a handbag license and partner… As of last week, there are three collections in development and numerous more are expected. Lindsay is very directly involved with the project.”

Actually, Lohan is not involved at all, because she’s not working on a handbag line for Ed Hardy.

In fact, Lohan herself tweeted, “I am NOT designing for Ed Hardy… JUST 6126 (my line).”
