Perez Hilton replaces fact with friction in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie post

After exclaiming “How sweet!” it is that “Brad Pitt‘s mom and dad arrived in Venice today to pay the actor and his kiddies a visit,” and how “every kid loves a visit from their grandparents!!” Perez Hilton remarks, “Noticeably absent, however, is one Miss Angelina Jolie!!”

He then asks, “What’s the deal?” and “U think there actually might be trouble in paradise??”

For a guy who covers celebrities, Perez is pretty clueless about… celebrities.

Here’s “the deal”: The reason the Pitt-Jolie clan has been in Venice for weeks is that the actress is in the Italian city to film The Tourist with Johnny Depp. And that’s the reason she’s not in the photos of Pitt, his parents and the children.

She’s working.

Actually, the only thing that’s “noticeably absent,” once again, is any semblance of reporting on Perez’s part.

    I don’t understand how sites like his that just make up crap are moving into the mainstream…but then again, look at the glossy mags!?! I can only hope that Gossip Cop will take some of these idiots down.

    Part of the problem, I believe, is that we keep paying attention to his drivel! GC, you probably drive 40% of his site traffic just by calling him out! Remove the link from the sites being watched! I quit going to his site 3 days after he posted his ahole comment about Michael Jackson’s death being faked and I see your link is still life. Think about it, please.
