Perez Hilton and Radar Wrong About Charlie Sheen Rehab

“Now that his crackhead wife, Brooke Mueller, is in treatment,” the classy Perez Hilton writes, “Charlie Sheen has also been feeling the pressure to check into rehab for alcohol addiction.”
The blogger borrows from a RadarOnline.com “exclusive” that cites “sources” who claim Sheen is “boozing again” and say “people close to him have urged him to go back to rehab to get help.”
Of course, neither Perez nor Radar bothers to name a single person supposedly urging Sheen to go.
“Who told Charlie to go to rehab?” a rep for the actor observes to Gossip Cop. “Gee, they forgot to say who. Correct answer: No one.”
The Radar report also conveniently concludes that a trip to rehab for Sheen “just doesn’t look like it’s going to happen,” as one supposed “source” puts it.
So the rumor is floated, no one owns up to it, and it contains a nice built-in exit.
Which is all perfect for Radar and Perez… because the rumor is NOT true.
Sheen’s rep assured Gossip Cop he is NOT going to rehab.
