Pee-wee Herman Set for Big Adventure in Big Apple

Pee-wee Herman is coming to Broadway.
The quirky but beloved man-child creation of Paul Reubens will start a six-week run at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre in New York on November 11.
Herman (played by Reubens) recently made a much-hyped return to the stage in Los Angeles, where the character began his career. The character hosted children’s TV program “Pee-wee’s Playhouse” and starred in a few feature films before a long hibernation.
Additional New York casting has not been announced, but favorite Pee-wee characters are expected to participate in the staging.
