Paula Abdul Will Not be “Star Search” Judge

It looks like Paula Abdul will NOT be doing “Star Search” when ABC relaunches the talent show.
According to many reports, producers had vigorously pursued the former “American Idol” judge to be part of the third iteration of the legendary competition. But today comes word Abdul will not be reprise judging duties on “Star Search,” at least for now.
There is also chatter that Abdul could wind up reuniting with “Idol” cohort Simon Cowell when he launches the American version of his wildly popular “X Factor.”
Last month, Abdul turned down a spot on the network’s “Dancing With the Stars.”
