Gosh people need to grow up, it’s not that serious. Yes, she was talented & was voted off, but threatening people over someone you don’t know getting voted off a show is taking it too far. Marcus Canty was receiving hate messages, too because of it. She got voted off, so deal wit it. They swear like she’s the greatest singer alive, which she definitely isn’t. None of these “people” would ever say these things to their faces, ignorance like this is cyberbullying & needs to be stopped.

I personally thought she wasn’t that talented. I mean compared to the others on the show she didn’t have a chance in hell of winning without it not being fair. That’s why younger people under 18 shouldn’t be on these shows because people feel sorry for them. Sorry but it’s true. Also she wasn’t emotionally or mentally mature for the show or for the fame that comes with it. So the people making threats obviously either don’t have lives or are young and immature

i get it that she probably is the one person w ho deserves to be there a lot… and my dad had said it before that she’s such an amazing singer, but it’s a little ridiculous that they are giving those two a bunch of death threats. if they are really pissed off that shes out of the competition then make a difference by not watching the tv show and soon they’ll fall out and wont have a contract renewal. its a little immature that they did that, and i don’t get the fact that since they love drew so much then how come only a few million voted for her? hmm what a bunch of hypocrites…

To me, she had a voice that could only sing certain songs. Her vocals to me couldn’t sing a good genre of songs. She wasn’t versatile enough. To me, they did the right thing.

If Simon really wanted to, he could easily give her a record contract, surely, he knows people.It’s not a big deal. geesh. why the death threats?

Other talented people have left early in competition shows who many believed should have won. However, if someone is voted off the show that I like I stop watching the show, why continue when the person I liked is no longer on the show. People need to grow up and if it is teens steamrolling this, parents need to tell their teens to behave. Threatning anyone in person or online is unacceptable. As many have stated above, it is just a tv show. If her talent is as good as all those who think she should have stayed believe she does not need to win the show to succeed, it was a platform for people to discover her talent. I know Astro will be a successful act if his head is in the game, he is very talented as are many that are still in the competition.

I thought she took criticism well and she received a lot from LA Reid and Nicole.

I was/am not a fan of Marcus or Drew but, if you listened to the farce (Ugh, I mean sing off) Drew was clearly the better of the two. The sing-off is a JOKE. Marcus is terrible and it should have been him sent home the week before. I don’t buy into death threats but I do understand the fury. As far as I am concerned there are only two left worth their salt, Melanie and Josh. They go and I’m done!

Wrong. Paula voting Drew off took the choice away from the viewers. Simon was the only judge voting to keep Drew, if Paula had voted to keep Drew (as Simon did for Astro a few weeks ago) it would have been a deadlock and the viewer votes would have decided. I thought it was a terrible decision, and based on the national reaction it seems many others do as well. Drew has a unique voice, admittedly difficult to listen to at times, but its uniqueness is what makes it so special, and marketable. A few years ago no one will remember Marcus, but Drew may end up having a decent career, not a Carrie Underwood but maybe a Kellie Pickler type of success. I also thought it was brilliant to have her sing from the chair – it was obvious she was straining to get out of it, and I think many in the audience (at least on TV) would have been ‘feeling’ for her being trapped there, as if that ‘emotional pain’ was part of the song. I liked it when I saw it, and thought it was a cheap shot for Nicole to attack it so vigorously.

I think Marcus should of been voted off. I think he has a great personality and a shot at entertainment but his sing off was horrible!!. He is definitely the weakest contestant left. I feel the sing off should be removed from the show. Let the fans vote and whoever gets the lowest is out period!!! The sing off is so stupid!! I also feel someone should have prepared Drew or all the contestants frankly for a possible elimination. After all there is going to be only one winner. Drew’s exit was pathetic!!

I agree with you , well said! I don’t think the judges should be allowed to vote it’s the viewers time to vote, should of went to dead lock . and we also should remember that the judges are competeing against each other as well ,paula is out, she should not be allowed to vote. I’m just saying…..

Drew isn’t nearly a great singer. She hit big with her audition and her Bieber redo went viral. Obviously while there were many contestants still competeing her fan base was the largest but as people began to get eliminated Drew did not pick up any new fans from the eliminated contestants. So once their favorite singer was eliminated people moved their vote to Rachel, Melanie and Josh. Drew’s fan base did not grow because Drew had one good day and that was her audition.So boring after that. No diversity. That is why she is gone!

I seriously think having the judges vote is not fair at all. Yes, Paula should have let it go to a deadlock but she was getting back at Simon for yet something else. It was stupid on her part not to just let what the fans had decided. Now she and Nicole are getting lashed out at. I don’t understand why the fans are doing this because its not going to change anything. They are being as inmature as Paula was for not just letting it go to deadlock. Then people would not be so upset at them. I love Simon and I just hope that Melanie wins because she surely deserves it.
