Paul Zerdin “America’s Got Talent” Video: Ventriloquist Is Howard Stern’s “Favorite Act Of The Night” — WATCH HERE!
Paul Zerdin took his ventriloquism to another level on season 10’s first live episode of “America’s Got Talent” on Tuesday, earning the highest praise from Howard Stern. Check out the video below!
As Gossip Cop reported, Zerdin won the Golden Buzzer from guest judge Marlon Wayans last month after a hilarious bit with a baby puppet. That secured his spot as one of the acts for the live shows, and for his first performance at Radio City Music Hall, he upped the ante with a puppet named Sam. Zerdin and his dummy pal began by arguing over whether the little guy had to perform.
They each thought they would be nothing without each other, which Zerdin attempted to prove by leaving Sam alone on stage. But after Zerdin left, Sam came alive all on his own, and then pretended to be just a dumb puppet when his boss returned. The judges loved every moment, giving Zerdin a standing ovation.
And when Heidi Klum, calling herself a “purist,” said she actually preferred Zerdin to stay on stage, she got the biggest boos of the night. But Stern shut her down, declaring, “Best thing he ever did was walking off the stage. Unbelievable… Walking off the stage was genius.” He went on to deem Zerdin his “favorite act of the night.”
