Paul Stanley Of Kiss Slams Kim Kardashian Rolling Stone Cover
Paul Stanley of the rock band Kiss slammed Rolling Stone on Twitter on Monday for putting Kim Kardashian on its cover, a feat it took his group 40 years to accomplish. Formed in 1973, Kiss finally nabbed the cover of Rolling Stone after being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in March, 2014. A disgusted Stanley tweeted, “#KimKardashian on the COVER of @RollingStone. Took us 40 years. Enough said.”
Stanley, who never did a nude photoshoot for Paper, is not the first celebrity to take aim at Kardashian. As Gossip Cop has previously reported, being so ubiquitous has led a number of other stars to take shots at Kardashian over the years. Sarah Michelle Gellar was so upset about Kardashian and Kanye West being on the cover of Vogue in April 2014, that she tweeted at the time, “I guess I’m canceling my Vogue subscription. Who is with me?” And “Orange Is The New Black” star Taylor Schilling said she sometimes resents using Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook because “this celebrity Kim Kardashian culture is not what I signed up for.”
Do you think that Stanley’s diss at Kardashian and Rolling Stone is justified or not? Tell us what you think.
