Paul McCartney Victim of Death Hoax

Truth rating: 0

(GettyImages.com)

Paul McCartney is the victim of a death hoax.

A rumor that the music legend had died spread like wildfire on Twitter on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

“RIP Paul McCartney” became a worldwide trending topic, only further fueling speculation.

It is 100% false.

McCartney is alive and well.

The Beatle is just the latest celebrity to be “killed” by a prank in which Twitter hoaxsters get “RIP [Celebrity Name]” to trend.

While more and more people are quickly recognizing these rumors for the dumb, unfunny hoaxes they are, it’s disgusting that others think needlessly causing (even momentary) panic is acceptable.

I think he’s definitely not dead! I think this is obvious, but if you want reasons too, here they are! My reasons are that the man who is known by all as “Paul McCartney” looks too much like the “real” McCartney that we see in photographs, and he acts like him too!

This is not even an original hoax. The rumours of Maccas death has been circulating since the late 60s.. Come on,people, you can do better than this. Why not circulate a rumour about Gaga dying off beef-overdose, or Justin dying from his helmethair crushing his noggin? That’d atleast be a bit original.

Back in the Late 60′s there was a big Hoax of Sir Paul’s death and it even made the cover of Life Magazine – http://www.beatlesinterviews.org/db1969.1107.beatles.html And as much as I hate to admit it it was started in my home state of Michigan,
