Justin Biebers mom Pattie Mallette did NOT tell the public to “pray” for her son, despite a FAKE story from The Sun.

Before the pop star’s DUI arrest on Thursday, the tabloid published a supposed interview with Mallette, quoting her as saying, “If Justin’s struggling, don’t kick him when he’s down or condemn him — pray for him.”

The paper claimed Mallette added, “I ask that people keep me and Justin in their minds. I pray for him every day.”

But Bieber’s mother says she NEVER spoke to the tab.

Mallette tweeted on Thursday, “I didn’t do any interviews with The Sun. Why is everyone saying I did? Gossip writers making things up? Shocker!!”

The Biebs’ mom has yet to comment on her son’s arrest.
