Patrick Carney Reignites Feud By Changing Twitter Profile Name & Pic to Justin Bieber

Patrick Carney of The Black Keys has reignited his feud with Justin Bieber.

As you’ll recall, the drummer said the teen singer was not worthy of a Grammy nomination, stating, “Grammys are for like music, not for money.”

The Biebs then hit back at the rocker, tweeting, “The black keys drummer should be slapped around haha.”

Carney, for his part, seemingly regretted his statements about the pop star. He wrote on Twitter, “It’s cool when you get cornered outside your hotel by a guy with a camera and they ask you a dumb question and then put it on TV. :(”

But just when you thought the bickering was over, Carney changed his Twitter profile to be a picture of Bieber (larger photo below), and even used the young singer’s name for his account.

Suffice to say, Bieber fans did not take it in stride.

    Patrick’s not really “reigniting” anything. The little Beliebers have been attacking him since making that comment. It’s possible he thought, “well, if you fangirls can’t seem to get enough of this crap with Bieber, here, I’ll give you more of him.” Considering what a great band the Black Keys are, it’s ridiculous that Patrick’s now just known to that particular demographic as the guy who Bieber wants his people to slap around. Well, whatever Patrick’s reasoning, I think that picture’s funny.

    His opinion doesn’t have to be based on hate. Everybody has different musical tastes. He thinks Bieber can’t sing. I’m sure you feel the same way about some singers.

    Personally, I like Bieber’s music, but I don’t think he’s Grammy worthy yet.
    There are plenty of people who have been in the music industry a lot
    longer than him and haven’t got a Grammy. Bieb’s time will come.

    Bieber just seems to be having arguments with a shit-ton of people lately. Ever since the whole Mariah Yeater thing (and maybe it’s just how he’s been portrayed in the media) he’s had this attitude that just irks me.

    But as far as this feud (and every celebrity feud) they need to just learn to keep it off Twitter. One of them, either Bieber or Carney, need’s to be the adult and just let it roll of your back.
