WATCH: Pat Patterson of WWE Officially Comes Out As Gay In Emotional Video
Pat Patterson, a wrestling legend associated for decades with the WWE, officially came out of the closet as gay during an emotional scene on this week’s “Legends’ House.”
Surrounded by a group of former wrestlers, the 73-year-old Patterson revealed that he’d been hiding his sexuality for 50 years.
“For once in my life, I’m going to be me now,” he said, crying. “I survived all this being gay.”
Patterson also revealed that he had a partner for 40 years who died of a heart attack.
He told the camera, “For the rest of my life, I want to be happy.”
