Whew! Another disaster averted – a mutual friend of Pamela Anderson’s and Gossip Cop’s says the blonde bombshell is once again single, having recently broken up with electrician Jamie Padgett.

So, are Anderson and ex-husband Tommy Lee back on, as reported everywhere? No, not right now. Despite a recent hook-up in Las Vegas, “They are just great friends,” says her confidante, who adds that they will “always be in love” and that, as parents of two boys, they “have a unique friendship and care about each other intensely.”

Their brief fling in Las Vegas was part of a family weekend together before her oldest son, Brandon, went on tour with Lee and his band Motley Crue, and Anderson headed up to Canada with their other son Dylan to celebrate her mom’s birthday.

So will Anderson and Lee try it one more time? The Anderson ally tells Gossip Cop that the PETA activist and Lee share a bond, and while they aren’t together now, “Who knows what the future holds?”
