Ozzy Osbourne Did NOT Buy $10 Million Beverly Hills Home, Despite Report
Ozzy Osbourne did not buy a $10 million house in Beverly Hills, despite a widely spread report. TMZ claimed the Black Sabbath frontman shelled out the money for an over-the-top home in one of Beverly Hills’ “most exclusive neighborhoods,” but Osbourne says it’s not true.
According to the original report, ever since the Osbournes sold their old home to Jessica Simpson back in 2013 for $11.5 million, they’ve been renting in LA., and once this dream house came on the market, they quickly “snatched it up.” The generally reliable outlet claimed the new Osbourne English-style house boasts nearly 5,700 square feet, with 5 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, and a big guest house. And while the home sounds lovely, the family did not buy it.
Naturally, a number of outlets, including the Daily Mail and Forbes, simply picked up the story without bothering to fact-check. On Thursday, Osbourne himself took to debunking the tale, tweeting, “I bought a house? That’s news to Sharon and me.” Sharon Osbourne, as Gossip Cop reported, is currently on a month-long leave from “The Talk.” A couple of weeks ago, she collapsed in her (rented) home, due to what he rep termed “mental and physical fatigue” and “extreme exhaustion.”
