Owen Wilson bones up for his next film role

Owen Wilson is going to the dogs.
Wilson, who held his own opposite a Labrador retriever in “Marley & Me,” has just signed on to voice the part of the slobbering, chaos-causing Great Dane “Marmaduke,” based on the long-running comic strip.
The film will be a combination of live action and computer animation, and, according to the Hollywood Reporter, the plot sees “Marmaduke navigate a volatile Mutts vs. Pedigrees turf war, woo the purebred of his dreams and overcome a fall from grace.”
Judy Greer and William H. Macy are among the live action stars, and Wilson is joined by the voices of Fergie, George Lopez, Damon Wayans and Marlon Wayans.
This film is set to be released in June 2010.
