  • Stacy
  • Nowadays

Need some more damn COLOR on the list for me to watch. What the f**k

  • JMO

Sorry but I just can’t get excited about Emma. I don’t know what it is about her I dont care for her at all. Jmo but she looks better as a red head.

  • Stacy

    No oscar for Rob.

  • DF

Yep, last year the best actor was not even nominated either:-)

  • DF

What a boring selection! I think only a couple are justified.

  • http://www.facebook.com/holly.cadeaucouturier Holly Cadeau-Couturier

BEN AFFLECK OUT! PLEASE! UNBELIEVABLE :(

  • Anna

Jennifer Lawrence is nominated?! WHAT THE FUCK is wrong with the oscars nowadays?! She’s one of the worst actresses ever!!! I’m sorry but i totally go for Naomi Watts she’s a godess and much more talented!!!!!!!

  • Amy

    That’s your opinion.

  • Jenny

I agree with you Anna JL sucks!!!!

  • HPRonfan

    She acts well, pretty well

  • Heidi

I know , I saw silver linings she was good but not Oscar worthy at all, Bradley cooper yes her no! I mean to snub Ben afleck and nominate her, they got a bunch of bozos on that penal lol!

  • HPRonfan

I hope that Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, and the Life of Pi cinematographer win

  • Chris

Where is DiCaprio for Django Unchained and Giamatii for Cosmopolis? Their performances were tremendous.Les Miserables? Please! There will never be a better adaptation of this story than the two French ones. I’m not even disappointed with no nomination for Breath of life for best song since it’s clear from the beginning that Adele is supposed to take the award, anyway. At least they nominated Waltz for Django Unchained and Joaquin Phoenix (finally!).

  • D. Martin

I tried to update my post but it was gone. Are you the hall monitor?

  • D. Martin

Have you seen the movie she’s nominated for? I haven’t so I can’t say but have you?

  • Kourt The Therapist

This is a joke comment, right? You ACTUALLY did not expect Rob Pattinson to get nominated for an Oscar, right? How old are you?

  • guest

haha my reaction exactly. It baffles me how some people think that him and kristen should’ve gotten a nomination. Now, I don’t think they are bad actors, they’re decent, but Oscars…like Gob would say: Come on!

  • Kourt The Therapist

    It’s a form a delusion that I as a therapist don’t even get. Haha.

  • RobinEA

Totally agree. Saw “Winter’s Bone” and “Silver Linings” , did not care for her in either role. Passed on “Hunger Games”. Read but disliked the books for thin story and useless chid violence. I also felt the two leads were poorly cast based on book descriptions.
Ben should have been given a best director nod. “Argo” was great, but the best I’ve seen this year was “Lincoln” and Daniel Day-Lewis.

  • webstu

I agree. Disappointingly boring selection. Will not be tuning in.

  • JJ

Agreed! If Adele got hers with Skyfall, why Florence hasn’t?

  • C

    I like her, I think she’s a great actress.

  • http://www.twilightitalia.com/ Jaÿmes

i agree, these noms are kinda boring (also kinda delusional for me..idk), and there were a lot more worthy movies out there…so i’m not very interested on tune in this year really like the most of you…i liked a lot the 2011 noms with black swan or the kings speech and great others, i had fun watching the golden globes that year, one of my favs editions for sure

  • http://www.twilightitalia.com/ Jaÿmes

a thing that i learned recently is that most of the movies that get the vote are the ones with a more high budget and so more visibilty, not just by the public but also by the voters, who sadly doesn’t have enough necessarytime to watch actually all the movies that come out so that’s acually what goes on since the latest few years..and yes that’s really unfair

  • Maria

Watch Cosmopolis first and then come and tell me if he’s not a good actor!!!!!

  • Kourt The Therapist

Watched it. Not Oscar worthy but he isn’t horrible.

  • DF

    Have you seen Cosmopolis?

  • Kourt The Therapist

Yep. Saw it. Liked it. Still don’t think Rob Pattinson deserves a nomination. If he deserves one for that performance, a lot of mediocre actors deserve nominations.

  • DF

Naomi is by far the best of the bunch, she single-handedly saved “The Impossible”. As far as I’m concerned, JL does not emote anything :-(

  • DF

Seamus McG did a great job in Anna Karenina!

  • DF

I agree but they left out some major films and performance: “Shame” for instance.

  • DF

I have seen it – I know you were not asking me :-) – it was interesting and entertaining but nothing was oscar worthy.

  • DF

I personally think that if you remove the 1st minute of his performance he does deserve one. Bradley Cooper’s performance was def. not better though.

  • D. Martin

Okay. Thanks! I haven’t seen it and have no idea what this movie is about. I usually like to watch the nominated films but with work and school…

  • dannehlicious

Nominations seem about right except for no Ben Affleck! And a part of me was secretly hoping that Christina Aguilera would be nominated for her Casa de mi Padre song though it was already unlikely haha.

  • http://www.facebook.com/RTCastleberry R.T. Castleberry

I’m happy for the nominations for Silver Lining Playbook. But the ones for Django–which is racist muck and The Master–which is skanky muck, should have been given to Argo.

  • bloominutz

No Oscar nom for KStew, the wondrous one-expression wonder?

  • Jamie T

Her acting is okay, definitely not Oscar worthy. I also find her very ungrateful, she’s always bashing the whole acting world and lifestyle.

  • Jamie T

At the same time, Jennifer L was nominated…

  • desire

Jennifer Lawrence is nominated? come on !!!! she is terrible so disgusting actress come on guys! so ugly! puff these awards are becoming increasingly sold

  • k

    lol…are you that stupid…..yep you are…idiot

  • k

    lol..worst actress..hahaha…that will be Kristen stewart……

  • http://www.twilightitalia.com/ Jaÿmes
