Last week, Oprah surprised her studio audience with the revelation that they’d be receiving her annual (and assumed to be final) Favorite Things.

They went completely bananas.

What could the host do for an encore?

How about ask her very next audience whether they were miffed to have missed out… before bellowing that they’d be getting their own set of Favorite Things?

And wait until you see what these people got.

Among the avalanche of gifts were the iPad, which Oprah called “the best invention of the century so far;” sparkly Uggs, and Coach bags.

Then, Oprah rode onto her set in a red VW Beetle, telling the audience, “I wanted to give everyone one of these, but VW said ‘Sorry, Oprah. We can’t give you this Beetle.’”

Before the guests could even utter an “aww,” the host announced “[VW agreed to give everyone a] brand new, totally redesigned 2012 Beetle… THE BEETLES ARE COMING!!!”

Wow.

Santa, consider yourself replaced.
