Busting bad dish!

OK! Magazine’s Ironic Quest to find the World’s Biggest “Twilight” Superfan

(Summit Entertainment)

(Summit Entertainment)

You can’t make this stuff up.

OK! Magazine‘s website is “on the lookout for the world’s biggest Twilight superfan!” If you “think you have what it takes,” writes the site, you can e-mail your bid until 10 o’clock Eastern on Friday night.

That’s right! The tab with its finger on the pulse of “New Moon” Nation is, you might say, “Cullen” all Twi-Hards!

This is ironic, considering OK! was the first to report that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart had a “secret meeting” to reconcile… one week after they “split”… very soon after the mag’s “exclusive” (ahem) from “inside” the pair’s Vancouver hotel suites… which, of course, was after the “Wedding of the Year” bait-and-switch cover… which followed a cover explaining how their “engagement” was threatening Pattinson’s career

Hmm. You know what?

Gossip Cop encourages “Twilight” lovers to e-mail OK! with their credentials as superfans. Really. Not just for the bragging rights (although that would be cool), but also in the hopes that the magazine hires one of you to help out the staff. They seem to have some trouble separating reality from ridiculousness.

Hiring the fan to help staff separate reality from stupidness… sorry, ridiculousness…? tho that’d be cool to see if all this thing stops once and for all (highly doubt it will)… I’m thinking about something else…

Why would “OK” want to find the biggest fan? … So they can correctly report anything that has to do with these two? So they can increase their sales with the Twilight-name-dropping-strategy? So they can use all the “info” this fan has and turn it into another lot of stupid covers? … I think the last two are most likely…
Twist every single word this fan says and say something like “it’s known by ALL fans that *insert cr*p here*”… hey, it’s OK, what else would you expect, besides a complete idiotic cut-paste of the words you’d say?

    You’re really optimistic GC… or sarcastic? LOL… :P …I really do not think OK is anywhere close to re-vindication… sorry… Probably I’m being too harsh… dunno… Time will tell, I guess… :P

    Thanks GC… :D
    *thumbs up*

LOL to Gossip Cop. You make my mornings :)

My first thoughts of the subject was…WHAT?…OK magazine wants to nominate a fan of the Twilight saga. I didn’t know what to think…OK mag had me stumped on could this be real, but then I came to reality and answered my own question. This is OK mag we are talking about and I agree with both GC and Maquilita. Maquilita, you took the words right out of my mouth :)
