One Direction Pulled Over By Cops For Standing Through Sun Roof While Driving

One Direction didn’t just get a good look at the sights when they drove through New York City on Wednesday.
The boy band also had a run-in with the local cops.

The guys’ trip through the streets in a private SUV came to an abrupt stop when the police pulled over their vehicle.
The problem?
An excited Louis Tomlinson was capturing the surroundings on camera — by standing up through the car’s sun roof while it was moving.
Yikes!

Photos snapped by fans show fellow band members Niall Horan and Harry Styles also tried out the risky move before the NYPD got involved.
It seems all was forgiven, however, when the police recognized the singers, with one officer even snapping a quick pic with the rising teen superstars.
