One Direction ‘No Control’ ‘GMA’ Video
One Direction sang “No Control” in a never-before-seen performance on Friday’s “Good Morning America.” Watch below!
As Gossip Cop reported, One Direction participated in the morning show’s “Summer Concert Series” earlier this month. While much of it was broadcast live on ABC, as it turns out, one performance wasn’t shown on-air. Instead, the network secretly held on to it, and decided to air it as a pre-taped “GMA” segment at a later date. And no doubt fans who didn’t get to attend the show in person will be thrilled to now see it for themselves.
“No Control” is a favorite among Directioners and group mate Louis Tomlinson (pictured above). He and Liam Payne co-wrote the track, which is on their most recent album, Four. For a time, the fan base was really pushing for “No Control” to be a single, which Tomlinson admitted he was touched by, but, after Zayn Malik’s departure from the band, no more singles from the record were released. Still, “No Control” was eventually added to the set list for the ongoing “On The Road Again Tour.”
One Direction’s current single, of course, is the record-breaking “Drag Me Down.” It’s the first song to be released from the group’s upcoming fifth album, which does not yet have an announced title or drop date. And while it was recently confirmed that One Direction will be taking a hiatus next year, there’s still plenty of goodies to come before then. Check out the “No Control” performance video below!
