VIDEO: One Direction Performs “Little Things” In NBC Special Sneak Peek
One Direction perform “Little Things” in the first sneak peek from the band’s upcoming NBC special. Check out the video below!
As Gossip Cop reported, One Direction filmed a private concert at Universal Studios last month. The footage from the show forms the basis of their first-ever U.S. television primetime program, simply called “One Direction: The TV Special.” The one-hour special also promises to show documentary-style interviews along with some comedy hijinks. Fans will also get to see the group behind-the-scenes as they travel through South America for their Where We Are Tour, as well as the recording of their new album Four.
The special’s musical taping took place just after Four was released. As Gossip Cop reported at the time, One Direction had days’ worth of festivities at Universal for Directioners, including another concert that was broadcast on the “Today Show.” Zayn Malik (pictured above) was actually too sick to even to fly to Florida in time for that, but managed to make it to Orlando just before the cameras rolled for the special. The progam slated to air on December 23.
“Little Things,” a fan favorite track co-written by Ed Sheeran, was released in 2012 as the second single from One Direction’s second album, Take Me Home. It’s become a staple of their concerts, and in the preview clip, fans go wild as soon as they hear the first guitar strums. They immediately join in as Zayn Malik begins to sing. Check out the video below! And be sure to come back to Gossip Cop on Tuesday night for full coverage of the special!
