One Direction And Jimmy Fallon Talk What They’re Thankful For On Tonight Show – WATCH VIDEO!
One Direction made a second appearance on “The Tonight Show” this week, joining Jimmy Fallon for an interview on Tuesday’s episode. The host and the band amusingly took the term “sit-down” quite literally, and conducted their chat on the floor. Check out the video below!
The interview kicked off with Fallon asking the guys about what they’re doing for the holidays and Liam Payne said that he’s cooking Christmas dinner this year. Then Fallon asked them what they were thankful for. Niall Horan jumped up and said he was thankful for being on the “Tonight Show” and meeting Fallon for the first time. Then the talk show host showed everyone the vinyl version of One Direction’s new record, which features a picture of the guys lounging on the ground. After Harry Styles noted that they always hang out that way, Fallon suggested they do a real “sit-down” interview, so all the members then sat on the set’s floor.
While the guys were sitting, Fallon did his best Beatles Liverpool accent, but Horan said, “I didn’t realize that Prince William was on the tour.” And even though no members of One Direction are from Liverpool, Fallon kept talking like Ringo Starr. He ended the segment by congratulating the group on their new album FOUR, and Styles sweetly congratulated Fallon on his new baby.
As Gossip Cop reported, the band was also on Monday’s “Tonight Show, during which they adorably performed “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” with classroom instruments alongside Fallon and The Roots. They pre-taped Tuesday’s regular segment during that same visit, giving Directioners an extra gift for the holidays.
And if One Direction’s two “Tonight Show” appearances weren’t enough, they also performed on “SNL” on Saturday, and, as Gossip Cop covered, “One Direction: The TV Special” aired on NBC on Tuesday night a few hours before the “Tonight Show.” So far, it’s been a very Merry Christmas for Directioners.
