One Direction “Not Complaining” About Grammy Snub, Says Simon Cowell (VIDEO)

By Shari Weiss

Scooter Braun may have been quite worked up over Justin Bieber getting snubbed by the Grammys, but Simon Cowell says One Direction is taking their own lack of nominations in stride.

The boy band, widely considered a shoo-in for Best New Artist, received zero nominations for their breakthrough debut album, Up All Night.

And that’s quite alright, says Cowell, who helped launch the group.

“You know what’s more important? Fans, record sales, I’ve always said that,” Cowell told MTV News at Thursday’s “X Factor” taping.

He continued, “Maybe next year they’ll get something.”

“Trust me,” added Cowell, “they’re not complaining.”
