One Direction “GMA” Video: Watch “Drag Me Down” Performance On “Good Morning America”
One Direction performed “Drag Me Down” on television for the first time on Tuesday, with a “Good Morning America” concert in Central Park. Check out the videos below!
Though the “GMA” summer concerts usually take place on Fridays, a special exception was made for one of the biggest acts in the world. With thousands of fans in attendance, the guys hit the stage to perform “Steal My Girl,” “Story of My Life,” and, of course, “Drag Me Down.” Though the song was only released a few days ago, it’s already broken multiple iTunes and Spotify records, as Gossip Cop has reported.
The track is the first single off One Direction’s upcoming fifth album, their first song and first record without Zayn Malik. The guys are currently in the midst of the “On The Road Again Tour,” which had them in Pittsburgh on Monday. They’ll head to East Rutherford for a concert Wednesday, followed by a show in Baltimore on Saturday before a 10-day break.
Prior to their three performances, the group sat down for an interview with Michael Strahan and Lara Spencer. While the chat mostly focused on the music, Strahan congratulated Louis Tomlinson on his baby news, and the singer acknowledged for the first time that he’s going to become a father. Watch below!
