WATCH: OK Go Zero Gravity Video For “Upside Down & Inside Out”
OK Go shot a music video in zero gravity for their latest song “Upside Down & Inside Out.” Check out the cool video below.
Before the video for “Upside Down & Inside Out” begins, a title card reads, “What you are about to see is real. We shot this is zero gravity, in an actual plane, in the sky. There are no wires of green screen.” It starts with the four band members, dressed in bright colors, seated in an airplane and typing away on computers until they let go of them, and the machines fly off.
Lead singer Damian Kulash then floats out of his chair and does perfect somersaults. That’s followed by guitarist Andy Ross and drummer Dan Konopka floating to the top of the plane’s cabin, with Ross pushing Konopka up and down to do zero gravity push-ups. The drummer then flies like Superman straight down the plane.
The guys later remove yellow pieces of luggage from the bins above their seats, and open the bags, which are filled with hundreds of multicolored balls that float across the plane. Among the other props used to weightlessly float are disco balls and pinatas, which they smash open to have candy fly around. Right before the video ends, the guys pop balloons, which are filled with colored paint that also splatters in zero gravity. Watch the cool OK Go video for “Upside Down & Inside Out” below!
