REPORT: “Octomom” Nadya Suleman Now Receiving Welfare

“Octomom” Nadya Suleman is reportedly on welfare.

The mother of 14, who recently posed topless for cash, had long sworn that she’d never go on government assistance, but the financial burden of caring for her large brood has apparently forced Suleman to accept aid.

She now receives $2,000 a month from the state of California, according to TMZ.

Suleman’s welfare is reportedly deposited directly into a debit card that can be used only for food.

The “Celebrity Boxing” vet qualifies for assistance because her income is less than $119,000 – a threshold determined by the number of dependents in her household.

Suleman already had six children when she famously gave birth to octuplets in 2009.

    Food stamps are a form of welfare. As are government subsidies including those subsidies given to corporations, student grants and loans, medicare and medicad. Sh!t if you think about it everyone is or has been on some form of “welfare” before.

    It is one thing to put children up for adoption when you first have them, before they know you as their mother, but abandoning children who already know you as their protector can cause children extreme emotion problems. Another thing is, children are not disposable, you make adoption sound so simple when you say, “she should put them up for adoption”, until you have children you are not able to understand how hard it would be for someone to give away their child. You may have been adopted but you were not the one who had to give away the child. Also, why call someone a dumb ass just because they do not agree with you? I don’t agree with you either, not even because you were adopted. Nadya Suleman may have made a huge mistake doing what she did, but her children should not have to suffer because of it. Not everyone has the same story as you do, I am sure there are many adopted children out there who feel abandon by the mother who gave birth to them.

    Um, how do you expect people to know the facts of your life when you make a one sentence statement. I think being adopted probably did do you some damage because it has made you think that children are easy to get rid of, you just adopt them out…something for you to think about.

    And why? She is a grown ass woman who requested the procedure, AND at the time could handle the burden. The Gyno is in no way responsible for this womans decisions. She could have just as easily gone out and gotten pregnant every 9 months.

    So the moral of the story is have as many babies as you can because we the taxpayers are here to help. Why didn’t I think of that? I mean who would be concerned about how to support 6 kids before deciding to have more?

    He lost his license for performing the procedure. The most fertilized eggs he should have left implanted were three not eight. It was clearly a violation of medical ethics. Had he not been so willing to go against medical ethics this would never have happened. At the least the moron should have sent her to another ob/gyn and refused to work with her further.

    Why aren’t the Catholic Church and other Pro-Life organizations supporting Octomom! Since she adheres to their No Abortion and No Destruction of Embryos positions, which helped to get her into this mess. (She tried to give birth to ALL of her frozen embryos, so they wouldn’t be destroyed).
    It strenghthens the view that Pro-Lifers are very keen on bringing as many lives as possible into the world, but aren’t equally keen to want to feed, clothe, and shelter them all, once they get here!!
