One year after going back on welfare, Nadya “Octomom” Suleman has reportedly been charged with welfare fraud.

As Gossip Cop previously reported, the mother of 14 signed up for welfare last January — less than a year after leaving the program — saying she needed money to get back on her feet after some more financial trouble.

But according to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, Suleman concealed nearly $30,000 in income between January and June of last year.

She’s now facing felony charges — two counts of perjury by false application for aid and one count of aid by misrepresentation.

The D.A. is asking for Suleman to be held on $25,000 bail, according to TMZ.

If convicted on all counts, she could receive more than five years in prison.

The controversial figure was first reported to be on welfare in 2012, and declared bankruptcy in April of that year.

Gossip Cop will have updates.
