It’s her responsibility to control her kids, not the responsibility of everyone around her to put up with them. If she were at least trying to keep them in check, most people understand and won’t say anything. My guess is she wasn’t paying any attention to them at all, prompting the comment. She’s a nuisance.

I don’t know if Kristen flies 1st class anymore…BUT SOMETHING IS MISSING FROM THIS STORY!!!! 2 Hours is a long time to wait on a plane, one hour more, then the airline starts getting in trouble, BUT!!!!! I thought it was a MAJOR PROBLEM with TSA when someone checks in LUGGAGE and then is NOT ON THE PLANE!!!! No matter if they are a celebrity or not!!!!! Regardless, Nadya supposedly had her other kids watching the little ones on the Today Show. I don’t know if she makes the 28k EVERY MONTH, I doubt it, doubt she made the 28k, but regardless, WATCHING 1 OR 2 KIDS ON A PLACE IS HARD, VERY HARD!!!!

I remember doing that back in the 90s when we were flying back from vacation and there were 2 of us ‘against’ 2 of them.(My MIL was with us, supposed to ‘help us’ but she was IGNORING EVERYTHING!!!!!!!! ) A 4 and almost 2 year old, and they acted TOTALLY DIFFERENT ON A PLANE… add a wait, an OVER 1 1/2 HOUR wait IN THEIR SEATS!!!! I was having a NERVOUS BREAKDOWN IN MY SEAT! (I had a near fatal car accident 5 months before and was on vaca to relax, rejuv, etc. and THAT IS WHY MIL WAS WITH US, to watch the kids and actually my MIL, she was sitting 6 rows up and IGNORING MY ALMOST 2 YO SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS!!! I was trying everything, EVERYTHING to stop his screaming. My 4 YO, she was being a complete pain in the ass too…. Back then, the 4 yo was supposed to sit in her own seat and the my almost 2 was supposed to sit on my lap. NO!!!! No no!!!! My 4 yo wanted to sit on MY LAP, NO said the Flight attendants, she yelled, and my son, the baby, Did not want to sit on my lap AT ALL!!!!! He wanted to sit in his OWN SEAT, USE HIS OWN BUCKLE, ETC, ETC, ETC. HE WAS SCREAMING when the flight attendant told me to put him on my lap. Yes, the flight was LOVELY!!! We got off at AC for an hour, I got a drink, the man seated next to me said ‘You REALLY NEEDED THAT, DIDN’T YOU???? ‘You kids were really LOUD!!!! I just CRIED. Luckily after drinking a third of the drink and walking around a bit, and my kids ran around with their father(MIL STILL IGNORING), we got on the plane and flew the 30 minutes home.

Another long story, I know, but, this was 2 KIDS, she has 14…. if this story WAS TRUE, how much help would SHE NEED????? At least 6.7 PEOPLE??? Then she would need federal money. Yes, she should not have to depend on the help of others, BUT, THAT WOULD BE THE GOOD, ‘CHRISTIAN’, HELPFUL, etc, etc, etc, thinkg to do. A 2 hour DELAY ON THE PLANE… What does ANYONE EXPECT A 2 YEAR OLD TO DO ON A PLANE, or any kid for the matter?????????? If this story is true, I GIVE THIS ONE TO NADYA…

Sounds like maybe some of you don’t get it..I think Luna is just saying (and I agree) that we need to be a little more understanding and compassionate..As the mother of 2 grown sons…21 mos apart…there were days when they were younger, I wanted to run away from home…Kids don’t always act like little adults, and no matter how she got them, she needs help taking care of them, and apparently she can’t afford any help…I can’t imagine feeding that many mouths, and it is virtually impossible for her to get a regular 9-5 since the child care alone would be more than she could probably make. Her stress factor must be through the roof. Granted it was a stupid move on her part to have so many kids, but they are here, and a little noise on a plane shouldn’t be enough for a major catasrophe. Kristen seems like a typical childless person with the entitled star thing added to it…although her star hasn’t shone too brightly as of late.

A little noise? How about blowing off an airhorn in their little faces. That’s just a little noise.

Why didn’t she offer to help? Look at the awesome way the Today Show anchors all helped with the children. I know having that many kids is nuts! But as time went on, she’s proven to be trying very hard
To do the right thing in raising her children?

Okay. All you Nadya defenders — I’m sorry. I DO understand what it is like to have a kid throwing a tantrum in public — it must be horrible to have multiple 2 year olds doing this at the same time. BUT – wasn’t this the same woman who had six children at home that her parents were caring for when she went out and had a doctor – who, btw, has NOW lost his license for doing this – insert 8 embryos just for the notoriety? I’m finding it a little difficult to feel sorry for this woman. The children — definitely. Not the mother.

I hafta agree with Kristen. Twelve kids and one Octomom on the same flight is just unbelievable! Even one kid screaming on a flight is stressful to the rest of the passengers. It’s not that they don’t like kids, but a screaming child in a small enclosed space for 2 hours or more would send me over the edge…..and I love kids!
Totally off the screaming kids topic……..who on God’s green earth would want to see Octomom in the nude in Playboy? Or even in a bikini? I know she needs the money but…. are people that hard up???? Just sayin’…

I could just as easily be Kristen. I don’t hate kids I have two of my own and flew many times with them as babies and young children. The difference is I was prepared. I talked to my children’s doctor and was educated about both benedryl and the effects of pressure on little one’s ears. (which can make a baby or child scream in pain) I brought along books and quiet toys. My kids were also taught very young about indoor voices and the need to not disturb others. Even though I always brought the benedryl I didn’t ever have to use it.

The last thing a woman with 14 children should say, when she is asked to keep her children quiet, is not “how am I supposed to do that with eight 2 year olds”. She should apologize and make some attempt to get her children to simmer down. Don’t forget about the other 6 children aged 4 to 9 with some special needs. It really sounds like even without the 2 year olds she and her helper wouldn’t have been able to handle the six.

Hopefully all airlines have flagged her into their systems and this won’t come up again.

I don’t understand why people can’t just leave this women alone. She has never done anything to hurt anyone, all she has done is have babies. Babies that don’t have any long term effect on any one but herself. Frankly I have trouble controlling one child at times. Most Mothers know how it feels to have someone look at you as if your a second rate person, because you kid is being especially difficult that day. People who don’t have kids need to be a little more tolerant of others. All this says to me is that Kristen Johnson is a little high and mighty and needs to realize that she isn’t the only person in the world with the right to fly on a plane.

No one is saying that she didn’t have the right to take them on the plane, but having eight toddlers doesn’t give you an excuse to leave your common sense at the ticket counter. Even field trips from day cares have more than one person to supervise and look after the children’s safety. Her children deserve no less!

And she did a lot more than “just” have babies. She brought eight human beings into this world, human beings that need to be taught reasonable boundaries. The children listen to her defend their poor behavior by using the fact that there are eight of them as an excuse. Well, guess what? There will always be eight of them, and the older they get the harder they’ll be to control if she doesn’t teach them good behavior from the start. She’s going to convince them that being eight in number gives them to the right to do as they please. She’ll be the first to pay for that mistake, and then society will pay.

I would bet that she wasn’t even paying attention to the kids. Most people don’t say anything unless the parent is being awful. Most people would expect two year olds to be noisy. Nadya was more than likely focused on herself. She is an attention hog after all.

Sorry, but I’m sure she’s getting some kind of financial aid for all those kids and guess who is paying that bill – The Tax Payers!! She is reproductively irresponsible and obviously incapable of caring for the six she had prior to the implantation of 8 more that she cannot take care of.. I don’t think any of the rest of us should be held responsible for her idiotic choices and it’s bleeding hearts like yours that make people think that this is supposed to be ok – It Is Not Ok!!! People are not dogs or cats or rabbits are were never intended to birth litters of children – much less for fame and profit! I have 3 kids, and if any of them would have behaved in such a way in a public place I would have controlled my ‘beasts’ and they would have ceased immediately; you must teach children how to behave in public, not expect everyone else to do it for you.. if you can’t handle 8 babies at a time then don’t have them 8 at a time in the first place DA!

I thouht the show anchors did a great job, as well. I was expecially impessed with Nadya’s oldest dauhter. She was a gem!

I would have loved to see Kristen throw her down lol…she’s always seemed like a bad ass (and I mean that in a good way). I have no love for Nadya (but I have much pity for her poor children).

I’m with Kristen on this one. I had to endure a 2 hour flight with a screaming toddler the other day. Just the one. Her mother barely made an effort to calm her down and she was a spoiled brat (she started crying because they wouldn’t allowed her to run around freely while the plane was taking off and then she just kept on crying intermittently for no apparent reason for he rest of the flight).

1 Octomom and 8 kids with the Octomom refusing to get outside (read: paid or relatives) help? You don’t travel with 8 kids without outside help even if they’re of different ages. But octuplet 2 yearolds? What is wrong with this woman?!
