Disney and ABC News are producing the historic event, which will be aired commercial-free on all Disney-owned networks, including ABC, ESPN and FREEFORM, at 8 p.m. EST. “World News Tonight” anchor David Muir and ESPN commentator Jemele Hill will be moderating the hour-long discussion. President Obama is expected to talk open and honestly about race relations, police brutality and civil rights, topics that are being debated across the country in the aftermath of the tragic events in Baton Rouge and Minneapolis, where two black citizens were shot and killed by the cops, and in Dallas, where a sniper murdered five police officers during a protest.

President Obama will also be hearing from various American citizens, including parents, students, law enforcement officials, community leaders, and families, all of whom will be given the opportunity to have an open discussion with the president about the epidemic of violence around the country.
