Zach Galifianakis was “pretty nervous” to interview President Obama, said the commander-in-chief himself while calling into “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” on Friday in yet another attempt to get young people to sign onto his healthcare program by the March 31 deadline (video below).

As Gossip Cop reported, Obama dd a “Between Two Ferns” sketch with the Hangover star that was, at times, more weird and uncomfortable than funny. Obama noted that while Galifianakis usually doesn’t hold back on his guests, “Zach actually was pretty nervous.”

He added: “It was funny to watch, you know, ’cause this whole ‘Between Two Ferns’ shtick… his whole character is to go after the guests. I think he was looking around seeing all these Secret Service guys with guns and thinking, ‘I wonder what happens here if I cross a line?'”

After saying that some people signed up for Obamacare as a result of his appearance on “Between Two Ferns,” the president told Seacrest, “It ended up working, but I think I better keep my day job.” Check out video here of Seacrest’s interview with Obama.
