President Obama Correctly Calls It: Nicki Minaj Did NOT Endorse Mitt Romney

President Obama thinks there was more to Nicki Minaj’s supposed “endorsement” of Mitt Romney than meets the eye — and Minaj says the Commander-in-Chief is 100 percent correct.

In Lil Wayne’s new “Dedication 4″ mix tape, Minaj raps, “I’m a Republican voting for Mitt Romney / You lazy b—-es is f—ing up the economy” (LISTEN HERE).

As Gossip Cop pointed out, given Minaj’s history of performing under multiple personalities and her penchant for stunts, it seemed presumptuous to take her “endorsement” at face value.

During a Monday morning interview with an Orlando radio station, President Obama was asked about the Minaj lyrics, and the idea that she’s “going for Mitt Romney.”

Obama responded, “I’m not sure that’s actually what happened… She likes to play different characters. So I don’t know what’s going on there.”

And guess what — Obama was right.

Minaj tweeted, “Ha! Thank you for understanding my creative humor & sarcasm Mr. President, the smart ones always do… *sends love & support*”

It looks like the “Pink Friday” rapper won’t be out on the campaign trail with Romney after all.

    As I have previously said on a different site who said she was endorsing Mitt Romney: Who cares. If she were to support him then that’s her right to do so. I agree with other comments, I don’t know who actually takes things she says seriously.

    Ahhh so she doesn’t endorse one but endorses the other, which doesn’t make a difference since they are essentially the same person with the same views? What a smart cookie she is. People actually need to start doing their homework and thoroughly researching the candidates instead of taking things at face value the whole time. Actions speak louder than words, so in order to judge a candidate you must look at what they did throughout their entire lives and how they voted during their political career. You will be surprised if you haven’t done so already..

    Gotta love my post being deleted when it doesn’t violate ToS in any way, shape, or form. So much for free speech – another liberty that’s slowly being taken away from us under the table. So Nicki doesn’t endorse one but endorses the other, when both people are essentially the same person with the same views? People need to do their homework and thoroughly research the candidates, instead of taking everything they hear at face value. Actions speak louder than words, so in order to judge a candidate you must look at how they lived their entire lives and how they voted during their political careers.
