President Obama delivered his second Inaugural Address to the nation on Monday, shortly after being sworn in for his next four years in office.

In a speech to an estimated 600,000 spectators on the National Mall and a worldwide audience watching on television, the President referenced issues including climate change, gay rights, health care, the economy, gun control, foreign wars and domestic divisions.

He called for “fidelity to our founding principles” and “new responses to new challenges.”

“Decisions are upon us,” said Obama, “and we cannot afford delay.”

Obama’s speech was followed by stirring performances by Kelly Clarkson (watch here) and Beyonce (watch here).
