Nyle DiMarco Swings To Top On ‘Dancing With The Stars’ As Tarzan (VIDEO)
Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd danced a samba to Tarzan’s “Trashin’ the Camp” on Monday’s “Disney Night”-themed “Dancing With The Stars.” DiMarco swung to the top of the leaderboard as Tarzan. Watch the video below.
The scores for DiMarco, a crowd favorite, have been up-and-down throughout the competition. Though entirey deaf and unable to hear the music for his dances, DiMarco tied for the highest score on the season premiere of “Dancing With The Stars.” The following week, he only received a score of 20 out of 30 for his rumba. But last week, DiMarco came back strong and earned the highest score again, 25 out of 30 points, for his tango.
So, how did DiMarco and Murgatroyd do with their samba on week four of “Dancing With The Stars”? Len Goodman said, “Great energy, great dance.” Bruno Tonioli felt, “The Lord of the Jungle is now the Lord of the dance.” And Carrie Ann Inaba noted, “What can’t you do?” She added that like Disney World, “You are like the happiest place on Earth.” And guest judge Zendaya noted that she really enjoyed watching him, as well.
For DiMarco and Murgatroyd’s routine on “Disney Night,” they got 34 out of a total of 40 points. Check out the video below of Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd’s samba to Tarzan’s “Trashin’ the Camp” on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.”
