Normani Kordei Opens ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Premiere (VIDEO)
Normani Kordei and partner Val Chmerkovskiy opened Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars” premiere. And they did it with a quickstep to Erin Bowman’s “Good Time Good Life.” Watch the video below.
Before Kordei’s performance, there was footage of Kordei saying how she and her grandmother love the show, and how she’s excited to show another side of herself. Actually, Kordei is squeezing in “Dancing With The Stars” into Fifth Harmony’s touring schedule. She’ll be competing at the same time the girl group performs in Asia. In fact, Chmerkovskiy will be like a Fifth Harmony “roadie,” joining Kordei on tour so that the two can rehearse their routines before returning to Los Angles to perform their dances on the show.
Of her performance, Carrie Ann Inaba said, “It was a great first opening number.” Len Goodman expressed, I thought it was first class… Well done.” Julianne Hough felt, “It was a great way to set the stage.” “You nailed it,” she added. And Bruno Tonioli exclaimed, “It was crackling with energy… First time, very well done.”
For her first dance, Kordei received 27 out of 40. Check out the video below of Kordei and Chmerkovskiy’s quickstep to Erin Bowman’s “Good Time Good Life” on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.”
