Normani Kordei Gets Highest Score On ‘Dancing With The Stars’ (VIDEO)
Normani Kordei and partner Val Chmerkovskiy got the highest score on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.” They danced a foxtrot to Shirley Bassey’s “Big Spender.” Watch the video below of their new dance routine on “Vegas Night.”
Last week, Kordei’s cha cha on Week Two of “Dancing With The Stars” tied Rashad Jennings for first place, with 32 out of 40 points for her cha cha. Len Goodman called her routine “terrific.” “That was truly dancing with a star,” said Carrie Ann Inaba. And Julianne Hough not only felt the Fifth Harmony singer’s performance was “amazing,” but she also expressed that he wanted to dance with Kordei afterwards. Goodman has been supportive since the premiere, noting her first dance on the show was “first class.” Similarly, Bruno Tonioli exclaimed after her quickstep on Week One, “Very well done!”
Of her “Vegas Night” performance this week, Hough gushed, “That was a number you see on Broadway.” Inaba felt, “You hammered that to the ground.” Tonioli remarked, “That was the best dance tonight.” And Goodman shared, “The whole number made me smile… You were fantastic.”
