Nolan Neal “The Voice” Audition Video: Watch “Tiny Dancer” Performance!
Nolan Neal made a huge comeback during “The Voice” on Tuesday, going from no chairs to a full four-chair turn-around. Watch below!
The 35-year-old previously auditioned for the NBC competition on season 10, which aired earlier this year. None of the coaches pushed their buttons, though Christina Aguilera encouraged him to “come back.” And come back he did.
Now for season 11, Neal confidently returned to “The Voice” stage with a performance of Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer.” His rock version of the classic track piqued the interest of Adam Levine and Blake Shelton simultaneously, though only the latter seemed to recognize him upon turning around. Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys later hit their buttons, too, to make it all four.
Levine was the first to stand, followed by Cyrus, and it was a full ovation by the end. “Welcome home,” Levine said afterward, before he even knew Neal was a returning contestant. But he then marveled, “I don’t now what happened between last season to this season, but you’re going to be the first guy to go home last season and then win this season.”
He went on to plead, “I need someone like you. You’re the guy that belongs on my team, especially since I started coaching you almost a year ago, and I’m not going to stop right now!” Of course, Cyrus and Keys made their pitches, too, as did Shelton. And Neal even confessed to being “in love” with Keys.
But it was Levine’s determination that won out. Check out the video below!
