NO TRUTH TO UGLY RUMOR KATHERINE HEIGL IS CHEATING

It’s precisely because of stories like this that Gossip Cop is on the beat. The lovely sounding blog Webster’s Is My Bitch posted a red carpet picture of Gerard Butler embracing his “The Ugly Truth” co-star Katherine Heigl, whose musician husband Josh Kelly was not at the London premiere, to then completely manufacture the possibility that she was cheating.
Two co-stars hugging on a red carpet now means they may be sleeping together? What?!
Not only is there zero truth to the rumor, but worse, the fabricated item, titled “Heigl Cheating Rumors? Why Not!” was then picked up by numerous other blogs.
“Webster’s” is the definition of bad blogging, and the writers there should look up the words “fact checking,” “irresponsible” and “lame.”
