Busting bad dish!

No “Glee” for Adam Lambert

Truth rating: 1

Adam Lambert just signed for a special guest appearance on Fox TV smash hit ‘Glee’ in April,” read a National Enquirer report, which got picked up by the usual suspects.

The story went on to claim, “Producers made no secret of wanting the ‘American Idol’ icon, and Adam just loved the idea – especially when he learned he’d be playing big-brother mentor to the character Kurt, who’s needing a little help in coming out of the closet.”

Really?!

Uh, no.

Actually, Lambert beat us to the punch on this. Just before we could debunk this rumor, Lambert tweeted late last night, “Glee guest star rumor: it’s a rumor. Sorry guys.”

He added, however, if he could guest star on a show, “I’d loooooooove to be on True Blood. Or Weeds.”

Nice.

    so why the 1 rating?

    Very good question, yesno.

With all the publicity from this, now Adam is on the producers’ radar. So while the Kurt plot would seem unlikely, it’s possible now that he’s expressed an interest in doing (other) TV shows, the producers might do a “stunt” casting for May Sweeps (The “Sweeps” in May measure the ratings upon which advertising dollars are based. That’s why during “Sweeps” months, like November and May, you tend to see other stars making cameos on TV shows.)

    Thanks for the question!

Good, I can’t stand him and his scream-singing.
