New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys have been tapped to rock in 2011 on Dick Clark‘s annual New Year’s Eve special.
NKOTBSB – as the supergroup is now known – performed last month together for the first time at the (also Dick Clark-produced) American Music Awards, and plan to tour the U.S. this summer.
“The NKOTBSB just keeps snowballing … and nothing is as exciting as Times Square’s New Year’s countdown,” said the Backstreet Boys.
Added members of News Kids on the Block: “The excitement of this is just a glimpse of what our upcoming tour will be.”
Will you be tuning in when the bands perform from New York’s Times Square on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2011″?
