The 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony took place in Brooklyn on Thursday.

Peter Gabriel was celebrated by Chris Martin, while the four original members of KISS set aside their differences to accept their honor together.

Art Garfunkel inducted Cat Stevens, Questlove handled duties for Hall and Oates, with Linda Ronstadt and Bruce Springstreen’s E Street Band getting honored as well.

In its first year of eligibility, Nirvana was also inducted, with surviving members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic in attendance.

The ceremony, including a star-studded concert, will air on HBO in May.
