Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder Open Up About Being Friendly Exes
“I don’t like any kind of negativity. I try to be good to everyone, whether it’s a love, a friend, an ex. I’ll always try to treat people the way I want to be treated,” she tells August issue of Nylon magazine.
Somerhalder agrees, adding jokingly, “She always lets me have the last fry.”
He also still sings his ex’s praises, noting how on the “Vampire Diaries,” Dobrev “always wants to do her own stunts. Sometimes they let her, sometimes they don’t.”
Dobrev discusses the weirdness of fame in the magazine, noting, “People feel like they know you when you’re in their living room, weekly, for five years. But I always get uncomfortable when people know more about me than I know about them.”
Well, it could become more uncomfortable because Dobrev has big plans for her career.
“Success is the only option—well, the highest level of success is the only option. I’m kind of extremist in that way,” admits Dobrev.
