Nicole Scherzinger is joining “Rent.”

The recently crowned winner of “Dancing With The Stars” and lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls will play Maureen in a Hollywood Bowl production of the musical directed by Neil Patrick Harris and co-starring Vanessa Hudgens as stripper Mimi.

“Nicole had a wonderful audition — she was well prepared, sang beautifully, and had us all laughing,” says Harris. “If only she was somewhat attractive and didn’t have two left feet.”

There will be three performances of the show over the weekend of August 6-8.
