Nicole Scherzinger Cries Backstage with Rachel Crow at “The X Factor” (VIDEO)

(TMZ)

Rachel Crow‘s shocking elimination on Thursday’s “The X Factor” left America shaken and boos raining down on judge Nicole Scherzinger, whose indecision led to Crow’s dismissal.

As Gossip Cop reported earlier, 13-year-old Crow begged her Twitter followers to go easy on Scherzinger, asking them not to “be angry” with her.

Now, new video shows Scherzinger breaking down backstage after the emotional show.

“I didn’t send her home. I adore Rachel,” says Scherzinger through tears. “And then when I saw Rachel’s look on her face, I just died inside.”

Eventually, Crow comes into the room for a heart-to-heart.

According to reports, the young singer is already being courted by Disney for an upcoming meeting about possible TV and recording work.

Yes, Nicole did send Rachel home. America was voting on the performances from the day before. Why have a “save me” song if your not going to vote on how well they did for that. Rachel obviously sang better then Marcus for it and Nicole should have picked her to stay. I only wish we could vote off Nicole. If you can’t do your job then you shouldn’t have the job.

Thats garbage. If there are gonna judge by the “save me” song, why bother perform the day before? Either way, she made the right decision. Its just that the people overreacting are those that did not even bother to vote. Blame yourself people, dont put the blame on others.

how… so what? it’s still america’s fault that they didn’t vote enough to keep her, if america loves her so much and see so many more potential to her then why didn’t they vote their butt off for her.. so it is america’s fault.

Thanks for spoiling it. I’m deleting this feed, worthless.

I nearly threw my drink at the TV! The fact America ultimately had the deciding vote makes no difference, Canty has been awful for 3 weeks hence the reason he’s been in the bottom three for 3 weeks. Rachel Crow sung him off the stage and out of the building in the sing-off and it was a spineless and pathetic attempt to sit on the fence (As she does every week, with every artist) by Scherzinger to send the vote to deadlock. She was brought in by default as a judge after Cowell buckled to pressure from the studios and sacked Cheryl Cole who would have made a far more interesting judge and now this no mark of talent sits on the panel of what should be America’s biggest show like it is in the UK. For a while i’ve actually thought that the reason the show is suffering ratings wise in the US is not because of the format or the quality of talent but because of the poor choice of judges. Cowell’s great, LA Reid’s a legend. Paula Abdul however overstayed her welcome on US tv screens and ended up getting the boot from Idol and if Cowell really wants a 3rd season out of this show he’ll do well to send Scherzinger home at the end of this one. A decision we wouldn’t need ‘deadlock’ for.

somebody has to go home… i love rachel, she’s has an amazing voice and a darling. but there are times i don’t like her songs. i know it should suit her age but when she chose her own song she’s magnificent. however, if you really have to choose somebody who will leave that stage, it has to be someone who can control and dictate it. they will spend 5M for this person to sell the whole package. so i think they are now looking in the whole concept of the show. jmho.

Nicole is not worthy of being a judge. She can cry but she’s the one responsible for this and I hope she never forgets how her weakness and indecision caused so much pain to a lot of people…my family and I are done with X Factor. Nicole, I was going to buy your new CD but now…well, I just can’t make up my mind…oh wait, I’ve decided now…not buying it and I bet I’m not alone.

its life. there are winners and loses. if america wanted her so much then they would have voted. always she’s 13, she will get over it. plus her reaction showed that she isn’t mature enough for fame. you’re maturity shows during sadness and clearly she isn’t that mature

I agree with you, they should eliminate the Save-Me song altogether, if they can easily deadlock. I agree if it was going only by votes, Rachel should have been eliminated, I think people are missing your point, don’t have a Save-Me song if you are not going to judge that specific performance, what is the point? More air time, more advertisement and money for the producers and network, it does not benefit the performer and with a judging system that has the judges as mentors it is so biased. They need to change the rules and until then there will be one less person watching the show. I miss Simon on American Idol, but I would rather have the rules of AI instead of the idiotic procedure on the X-Factor. No matter what happens people will still be upset if their performer is eliminated but at least it was done more fairly than the process they have now. I wish no hate on Nicole, yes I am disappointed what by her decision to deadlock, however, she was given that option, which as I stated is so ridiculous. Maybe Simon and the producers will change the rules, I can only hope.

Couldn’t agree more. I liked Scherzinger, but wouldn’t have chosen her for a judge’s spot. Her performance thus far has proved me right. She has been a disappointment and this business w/ Rachel was the last straw. She copped out because she didn’t want to get negative ratings from fans. The choice should have been simple – Canty was in the Bottom 2 for the 3rd week in a row. I’m sure Scherzinger thought, as we all did, that he got the least votes and she would be saving herself if she let it go to the public vote. Unfortunately, it happened to be the week the public apparently felt Rachel would be safe, too, and sent their extra votes elsewhere.

Cowell made a HUGE mistake in giving in to the Fox nitwits and dumping Cole for this woman. She’s a disaster.
