Nicole Richie Daughter Harlow’s Third Birthday Draws Big Stars

The famous under five (years old) came out to celebrate the third birthday of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden‘s daughter, Harlow.

Yesterday, newlyweds Richie and Madden threw a birthday bash for Harlow at L.A.’s Treehouse Social Club, and a Who’s Who of Hollywood and their kids came out to play.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale brought sons Kingston and Zuma; Kourtney Kardashian came with Mason; Jessica Alba and Cash Warren had daughter Honor in tow; Ellen Pompeo and husband Chris Ivery showed with little Stella; Tobey Maguire‘s wife, Jennifer Meyer, arrived with their kids Ruby and Otis; and Sara Gilbert made an appearance with daughter Sawyer.

The celebrities and a few non-famous folks and theirs kids played outside in a giant treehouse, as well as did arts and crafts inside the play center.

Harlow’s actual birthday is Tuesday.

    why does every site cover the birthday party of a 3yo? and of SOME, normally d-z listers such as them and NOT a listers? (meaning, do they feed you all the news? Because he does not make music any more and she really never did ANYTHING other than act like an idiot with Paris, now ‘designs’ clothes, like every other person in hollywood.) Is this a way of getting press for THEM? and, do these kids know each other AT ALL? or do invites just go out to others that they know or people in the same social circle as them?

    @Luna Petunia . . . no A-Lister would want their kid’s birthday party covered by the ragmags! Only the D and Z-Listers do that stuff. Ms. Nicole No-Talent invited all the Z-Listers she could think of, called the rags and there you have it . . . it is all over the gossip sites. Zahara Jolie-Pitt’s birthday was on the 6th and you never heard a word about that, right? Because Zahara’s parents are A++-List and don’t need the publicity. (I’m surprised Gwen and Gavin were at this thing. They are at least C-List. They need to pick up their game as far as who they hang out with.)
