Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are engaged.

Richie made the announcement during Monday’s taping of The Late Show with David Letterman, a source at the show confirms to Gossip Cop.

The couple has two children together: 2-year-old Harlow and five-month-old Sparrow.

TV personality Richie and Good Charlotte rocker Madden have dated since 2006.
