Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban “Over” Report NOT True
“Is It Over?” asks Star in its new issue, where it’s said, “The A-list couple have been leading separate lives, says sources. Now Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman’s love story may finally be coming to an end.” The magazine writes, “With their powerhouse careers, it’s business as usual for Nicole and Keith to spend time apart. But now, insiders say their near-constant separation — along with behind-the-scenes infighting and jealousy — have pushed the couple to the breaking point!”
A so-called “friend” is quoted as telling the tabloid, “It’s like they’ve been leading separate lives for nearly a year. It’s sad to say, but I believe Nicole and Keith have actually been happier apart because on the rare occasion they can spend time together, they end up bickering over the slightest little thing, and it gets exhausting. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if they released a joint divorce announcement soon.”
Another “source” similarly claims, “It’s devastating, but these last few months have been like a trial separation for Keith and Nicole. I think it may only be a matter of time before they formally split.” The rest of the story is filled out with regurgitated information on the couple’s history, claims of “trust issues,” and allegations of “ego” clashes.
Of course, Star has said much of this before. The tabloid ran a “$175 million divorce shocker” cover story about Kidman and Urban back in 2014. Not-so-shockingly, Gossip Cop and time proved the magazine completely wrong.
And while this new story tries to make hay of Kidman and Urban supposedly not stepping out together since August, they actually attended the InStyle Awards together just two days ago (see photo above). And on Wednesday, the same day this split article was published, Urban happily posted a photo of himself with Kidman on Twitter, writing, “Best birthday EVER!!! Love u baby xxxxxxx K.”
So, no, it’s not “over” for Kidman and Urban. What’s more is that an impeccable insider close to the couple exclusively tells Gossip Cop that the Star story is a “fabrication.”
