Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban NOT “Fighting Over Her Mom,” Despite Report
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are not “fighting over her mom,” despite a shameless new report from OK! According to the tabloid, Kidman wants her newly widowed mother Janelle to move in with them, but Urban is saying no. Kidman’s rep tells Gossip Cop exclusively that the magazine’s story is absolutely not true.
While Kidman continues to recover from the tragic death of her father, Antony, in September, OK! has the audacity to fabricate drama between the actress and her husband by alleging that they are now arguing over what to do with her mom, a breast cancer survivor who lives by herself in Sydney. The tabloid says Kidman wants Janelle to stay with them because she feels “it’s up to her to care” for her mom, but Urban “put his boot down.” The outlet then goes on to quote a so-called “source” as saying Kidman’s mother has “never been crazy” about Urban, so the singer “fears she’ll cause tension” between him and his wife.
It’s all untrue. In fact, in October, Kidman gushed on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” about how Urban had literally carried her through the tough time. Regardless, Gossip Cop checked in with Kidman’s rep, who tells us exclusively that the couple is categorically “not fighting” about Janelle moving in with them. The actress’ spokesperson says the OK! story is “not true at all,” noting Kidman’s “mother is not living with them and does not want to.”
