Nicole Kidman NOT Writing Book About Tom Cruise, Despite Report
The new cover of In Touch blares, “Katie, Nicole & Leah’s Revenge Against Tom!” It’s teased inside the issue, “Two of Tom Cruise’s exes — and an enemy — reveal shocking secrets that can destroy the actor and his religion.” The “enemy” is former Scientologist Leah Remini, who has been speaking candidly about her negative experiences with the Church, and has a new documentary series on the subject.
Her desire to speak out is nothing new, but the magazine’s article alleges Kidman is now “planning a tell-all” about her own past with Cruise and Scientology. “She’s ready to share some of her secrets with the world,” a so-called “source” is quoted as saying. “Nicole is writing her autobiography, and there’s no doubt she has plenty of insight about the religion and how it affected her marriage to Tom and her children, Bella and Connor.”
The supposed snitch goes on to claim, “Nicole’s book about Scientology could make Leah’s read like a compilation of nursery rhymes.” Adds the magazine, “She’s finally willing to open up about a lot of things from that time in her life. Tom will be left feeling embarrassed.”
Actually, it’s the tabloid that should feel embarrassed for publishing totally false allegations. Gossip Cop exclusively spoke with reps for Kidman, who tell us she is not writing a book about Cruise nor any kind of autobiography. “[It’s] pure crap,” say the spokespeople. Of course, that describes many stories in In Touch.
