Nicki Minaj Fires Back At Safaree Samuels After Diss Song: “Enough With Pity Party”
Nicki Minaj is firing back at her ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels after he recorded a diss song accusing her of cheating and throwing away their 12-year relationship.
As Gossip Cop reported, a snippet of Samuels’ song, titled “Love The Most,” leaked online Wednesday. In the track he raps about their relationship going “up in flames” and feeling like a “muthaf*cking fool” after supposedly watching Minaj kiss Nas. Late Wednesday, the rapper responded to Samuels’ musical slam with a series of tweets, some of which have since been deleted.
“Lesson: don’t cheat on a loyal woman. God will punish you,” wrote Minaj in a now-deleted post, adding, “When he does, tell people the truth. The truth may set u free. Love. Always.” In other tweets that were also later removed from her account, Minaj told her ex, “Enough with the pity party,” and “I’m happy today not b/c of [current boyfriend Meek Mill]. But b/c I know I’m a good person. Don’t hate u. will always love u. I forgive u. It’s time to move on.”
Minaj continued her Twitter rant with tweets that still remain on her page. In one post she wrote, “God gave me a good heart. I always let ppl get over on me way too long. But that’s why I’m blessed. I’ll always b blessed. May God keep u.” She also commented on the long romance she shared with Samuels, noting, “Making a 12 yr relationship work at such a young age? We’re BOTH the real MVP. Things got rocky at the end but we had a GREAT run. #B4Ujudge.” The rapper also gave a shout-out to Mill, tweeting that she was “in love” with him.
