Nick Viall Defends Sleeping With Kaitlyn Bristowe On Bachelorette: “Sex Is Not Shameful”
Nick Viall is defending Kaitlyn Bristowe, after it was revealed they slept together on “The Bachelorette.”
As Gossip Cop reported, Monday’s episode of the ABC series showcased the pair taking things to the next level while in Dublin, well before the show’s traditional Fantasy Suite dates. Viall and Bristowe appeared caught up in the moment, and the cameras were there to capture all of her moans and groans. The intimate moment was first teased in a trailer last month, after which Bristowe was slut-shamed online for going THERE with a contestant.
The backlash heated up again with Monday’s broadcast of the key episode, and Viall took to Twitter fire back. “Kaitlyn showed a lot of courage by admitting 2 having sex on national TV knowing that she will be unfairly judged by some,” he tweeted. “Sex is not shameful. Whether we admit it or not, sex is important part of many serious and meaningful relationships.”
Viall went on, “Despite what we have been led to believe, both men & women have an emotional connection to sex that we all should respect.” The two-time “Bachelorette” contestant also noted, “Kaitlyn acknowledging that there are others involved shows she respects the emotional connection men can have to sex.”
“Both men and women have an equal right to have sex without judgement,” Viall added, further saying, “God only knows where Twitter would be if people lived by the saying ‘he who is without sin should cast the first stone?'” The fallout from Viall and Bristowe’s tryst will be seen on next week’s “Bachelorette.”
Viall, of course, was the runner-up on last year’s season with Andi Dorfman, and infamously called her out on “After The Final Rose” for sleeping with him in the Fantasy Suite, and then not accepting his proposal. What do you think of Viall’s points about Bristowe?
